Travel after lockdown

Travel post lockdown. How to be safe?

Travel isn’t getting to be an equivalent again. Now we’ve to urge familiar with the “new normal” within the travel sphere also. I am aware that whenever I pack my bags and exit of my range in the longer term, it’ll accompany many new travel protocols of the state of India. Now is the time to know the worth of freedom that we never really considered. From the instant, you board a hired cab to succeed in an airport/railway station to board a plane/train to checking into a hotel, everything about travel is going to be different within the days to return.

Now it’s health, hygiene, and safety first.

Ironically, it took an epidemic to show us to take care of hygiene, wash hands, keep a distance from people, await our turn, avoid jostling, etc. I’m just wondering (and also curious) what is going to travel appear as if in India where people have this ‘tick off’ mentality, which makes them throng places like there’s no tomorrow. In India, quantity is usually over quality. People don’t really look after slow travel and deep experiences. They only want to feel good about ticking off checkboxes.

Besides, I’m concerned about budget travel in India. Yes, the large hotels will have their hygiene and safety protocols in place. But what about those budget hotels? Are they getting to take it seriously and alter their ways? And, what about our Indian trains which are taking the longest time to return in normal?

We’ll need to limit our travel choices for the sake of our own safety. I don’t think it might be feasible to figure out a busy itinerary anytime within the near future. We need to be content with little travel that we get to experience. Well, little doesn’t mean insignificant. The new trips need to be carefully crafted with more specialized in experiences and rejuvenation instead of run-of-the-mill sightseeing.  There isn’t anything wrong with sightseeing. I do that, too. However, we’d like to select and choose what we’d like to try to form the foremost of a destination without putting ourselves into dangerous situations.

How to be safe during post lockdown travel?

The tourism industry will revive slowly if travel companies will implement the proper strategies to assist people to travel safely, consciously, and sustainably like Her expeditions team following all the guidelines of the Government to ensure the safety of the traveller.  We assume sustainability isn’t a choice anymore.

To travel safely and consciously post lockdown is in our hands. We’d like to plan our travels thoughtfully keeping the safety protocols in mind. We’d like to require the responsibility for our own safety and therefore the safety of the travellers also.

You can approach her expeditions to plan your travel with all the safety precautions in such a difficult time.

Start slow. Explore your own city first.

Her Expeditions Delhi

Without a doubt, we’d like to start our new phase of travel with our own cities, our own backyards. The new travel isn’t getting to be almost our own fulfilment of adventure, but to assist our local businesses and communities recuperate also. It should be more of an act of welfare work.

Think of new ways of exploring your city – ways to restrain your movement, discover the local gems, and perceive more. Search for restaurants with innovative menus, lesser-known markets that sell local artefacts, etc. Perhaps you’ll support small businesses that don’t have marketing strategies in this situation.

Choose solo activities like reading, cycling, hiking, etc.

It’s time for solo travel, I guess! Well, I’m not saying that if you’re not a solo traveller, you ought to become one. However, it’s good to settle on solo travel activities to remain far away from people, like reading an honest book in your balcony or during a hammock under a tree, biking, hiking, meditating by the riverside, etc.

That being said, you ought to not really “stay far-away from people” mentally or emotionally. Stay connected together with your people via technology. Also, don’t stifle the opportunities of connecting with strangers on the road. I think the people you meet on your travels offer you the sweetest travel memories. So, concede to the enjoyment of lecture your hosts, kitchen staff, waiters, and fellow travellers, but with a secure physical distance.

Make sure sanitizers, disinfectants and masks are on your packing list.

Remember, you would like to require care of yourself before your host’s lookout for you. It begins with packing everything that you’d need for your hygiene and safety – disinfectants, masks and sanitizers. I’d suggest you ought to keep a disinfectant handy just in case you would like to travel on a bus, train or a flight. It’s advisable that you simply disinfect your seat albeit it’s already sanitized. There’s no harm in being doubly sure.

Be very particular about social distancing.

I just hope people understand the meaning of social distancing! Wearing a mask doesn’t mean you’re safe. You’ve got to form bound to keep a distance from people. It’s funny how people haven’t any consciousness of people around. Life has bogged down, and that we need to accept it. Let’s learn to measure with it. Let’s not get on the brink of somebody just to urge ahead during a queue. Wait patiently for your turn.

Maintain hand hygiene.

Please, please, please wash your hands! The more you wash your hands, the slower the spread of coronavirus are going to be. It doesn’t take much to scrub our hands, right? Just soap and water, and 20 seconds. What’s the large deal?

If your skin gets dry, use an honest oil to massage your hands before you attend bed. Keep your hands clean and moisturized.

Follow travel protocols. Be responsible.

Be well informed about the new travel protocols before you began for a visit and follow rules diligently. Read information on the proper channels. Confirm you don’t read almost any news that you simply encounter. Read-only what’s coming from right sources. Determine about the new aviation protocols, railway rules and quarantine rules, etc.
