Tour Plan
Day1 - Arrival & Forest Stay
10:00 AM: Arrive in Nagpur and set out on a scenic two-hour road journey to The Riverwood Forest Retreat, Pench.
Afternoon: Afternoon – Enjoy a hearty forest-inspired lunch, before continuing on a one-hour transfer to Nalyer Camp.
Evening: Evening – Step into a world of wilderness as you check into charming Swiss tents nestled by the Bawanthadi River.
Night: As twilight falls, gather around for local storytelling sessions, sip on forest-side hi-tea, and end the night with a rustic dinner lovingly prepared by village hosts.
Day2 - A Meandering River Trek & Village Secrets
Morning: After breakfast, lace up for a soul-stirring 7.5 km trek through riverbeds and hidden forest trails.
A chance to reconnect with the earth beneath your feet, spot pugmarks and signs of wildlife, and pause to smell the wildflowers along the way.
Midday: A simple, heartwarming packed lunch by Nayegaon Talab, surrounded by the untouched calm of the forest.
Afternoon: Walk into the quaint rhythms of a village (2 km) and arrive at the Enchanted Forest Farmhouse by the River. Evening: Be welcomed with a refreshing drink and hi-tea under the trees. As the day fades, indulge in a Secret Supper Club experience – a bespoke dining ritual where Chef Michel Swamy reimagines tribal cuisine into an unforgettable culinary journey.
Day3 - Jungle Walk & Forgotten Histories
Morning: Set out on a 7 km jungle walk to Sakata, a trail where every step brings you closer to Pench’s living heartbeat.
Discovery: Stumble upon a hidden British-era structure (dating back to 1903), tucked away in the wilderness like a secret from the past.
Afternoon: Relish a picnic-style lunch at Sakata, immersed in the serene forest setting.
Evening: Return to The Riverwood Forest Retreat (2 hours), where hi-tea by the riverside awaits, followed by a warm dinner under the stars.
Day4- Farewell, But Not Goodbye
Morning: Optional core/buffer safari (additional cost) for those who wish to end the journey with one last wild adventure.
10:00 AM – Breakfast at Riverwood.
11:00 AM – Check out and begin the two-hour drive back to Nagpur, carrying stories, new friendships, and memories woven by the forest.
